CBi Catalytic Funding Support for COVID-19 Response and Recovery

A total amount of US$340,000 as CBi catalytic funding is provided to 8 countries where UNDP and CBi supported networks collaborate on COVID-19 response and recovery.

Specific activities include:

  • Development of COVID-19 response and recovery plans for the private sector
  • COVID-19 socio-economic impact surveys
  • Information sharing and awareness raising
  • Capacity building and support programs to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Support to repurpose business operations in support of the crisis response, e.g., producing personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical devices
  • Development of online platforms, call-centres
  • Private sector contingency and business continuity support
  • Policy dialogue and evidence-based policy recommendations
