New Technologies

Several CBi Member Networks and companies have proposed new solutions and technologies – from artificial intelligence to big data – to be explored in the area of disaster management. This session will kick off a conversation about various new technologies and their use by Member Networks before, during and after crises.

Emergency Operation Centers

The CBi Member Network in the Philippines - the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation - has started the world’s first private sector Emergency Operations Center (EOC). There is a lot of interest from other countries and as a result, this session will further assess the feasibility of private sector engagement in Emergency Operating Centers and how they can support national systems.
