CBi Member Network in action

CBi's Member Network in Haiti, Alliance pour la Gestion des Risques et la Continuité des Activités (AGERCA) has kept its members informed of all situation reports. The alliance also shared on social media official figures about the earthquake, as well as earthquake preparedness messages on local radio broadcast.

AGERCA liaised with the mobile company Digicel about the dissemination of three SMS from the Civil Protection Department to more than 3 million people in the Northern part of the island. This aimed to restore calm and advise the population on what to do during aftershocks in order to avoid being hurt.
